It’s a day of surprises for Stephanie. First, Alex has something up his sleeve for her, and later her mom stops by. Kayla has some goodies that are especially for her daughter. Stephanie has no idea that both of her parents have read her steamy novel, and in turn, Kayla and Steve have no idea that their daughter has written it.

Kayla has looked online and doesn’t recognize the author’s name. It appears that Alex was successful in concealing Stephanie’s identity as an author. So far, he and Kate are the only ones who know that Stephanie is the writer. Will she finally let Kayla in on the secret, or will Stephanie continue to hide in the shadows?

Xander Struggles to Balance Work With Fatherhood

Xander is struggling to keep up with everything. He needs to wheel and deal as Titan-DiMera’s CEO, but he is also dealing with his fussy daughter. Ever since preventing Sarah from taking their daughter to Bermuda on vacation, Xander has had to do double duty, and it’s not easy. He believed that rather than take a vacation, Sarah was trying to steal their daughter permanently, so for now, Victoria is his responsibility.

Xander and Gabi interact again today, and it’s pretty clear that she still doesn’t realize that her daughter, Ari, has been abducted by a loan shark.

Speaking of the DiMeras, Gwen tells EJ that she wants to move in with them. How do you think that will go over?

Rafe Fills in the Blanks for Cat

It might be a bit awkward when Thomas sees Cat in the park and asks her to play with him and his dad, Chad. Lucky for him, Cat’s ISA business may prevent that playdate from actually happening.

Rafe and Cat have now teamed up to work on a case together. He represents the FBI, while she is obviously with the ISA, working under Shane. Rafe brings Cat up to speed on all of EJ’s past nefarious dealings.

When Gabi and Rafe connect later in the day, has it occurred to them that no one has heard from Ari? Are they beginning to realize that something may be wrong?
