‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for July 22: Kayla Snaps on EJ

Tuesday, July 22, 2025, is going to be another interesting day in Salem. Brady is ready to do everything in his power to support his son. Tate is trying to understand what is going on with Sophia, and Kayla disagrees with Stephanie’s possible next move.

Brady Supports Tate Through More Drama

On Tuesday’s episode of Days, Tate is in a panic after finding a phone message from Sophia saying that she is in labor. Tate is still a wreck after rescuing Ari and Holly from the warehouse where they had been held hostage, and this new stress might be more than he can handle. Brady is at his son’s side, trying to anchor him through all of the confusion and chaos.

Tate wasn’t thrilled to learn that Sophia traveled to Chicago to meet with a potential adoptive family, and now he is worried because she is in labor away from him and also her doctor. He has no idea that Sophia actually gave birth to their child days earlier and that the Hernandez family is actually fostering it, with Leo and Javi primarily on duty.

What story will Sophia tell Tate next? How will he find out the truth?

Kayla Is Annoyed and So Is Stephanie

Kayla is fed up with EJ and his antics. She has had to suck it up when he implemented cost-cutting measures for University Hospital, but today Kayla tells him that things need to change. What will EJ’s next move be, and how will Kayla react?

Stephanie then walks in and tells Kayla that she has an interview scheduled with EJ. She is interested in working as the hospital’s publicist. If she receives a job offer, will she actually accept it? Kayla may not believe that this is the best job opportunity for her daughter, but if she does take it, that would bring them closer togetheron a daily basis.

Speaking of Stephanie, she lashes out during a conversation with Alex. Is it about her interview for the hospital position? It’s hardly a secret how much Alex dislikes the DiMeras, so is he against her taking the job with EJ? Or is the couple clashing over something else?

Either way, after the blow-up, Alex chooses to work from home, perhaps to avoid the in-office conflict between Xander and Philip. When Stephanie returns, things are better between the couple. Did she admit to overreacting, or did Alex meet her halfway?
