‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Welcomes Someone Back With a Twist

Fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” are in for a shock this week, one that is sure to disrupt the future of a momentarily happy couple. Carter and Hope recently reunited, with him pledging to do absolutely everything within his power to give them the life together that they deserve. But what about those things that aren’t within his control? Like that one-night-stand flying in from another continent to share some badly-timed news?

According to SheKnows, Daphne Rose returns from Paris with a baby on board. Carter’s baby, to be exact!

Daphne Is Back and She Is Not Alone

Since Luna is dead, or healing in an undisclosed location thanks to Li, or something, B&B had to give us something else to make our heads spin, and now it’s Daphne’s turn to shake things up. This week, the perfumer returns to LA after spending a few months at home in Paris healing her broken heart. When we last saw her, Carter had told her that he had reconciled with Hope and that they would never have a chance together.

The night before breaking Daphne’s heart, she had shown up at his apartment to console him, and while viewers never saw how far things went between the duo, many believed that they must have had sex. Before leaving town, Daphne had mentioned that night and made it clear to everyone at Forrester who would listen that she had to go because of Carter’s choice to be with Hope.

Daphne’s return will likely trigger a series of flashbacks to that night, which will help fill the audience in on what happened behind closed doors.

What Will Carter Do Now?

Things are about to get incredibly complicated for Carter. He and Hope are just beginning to build a life together. She believes that Liam, her ex and the father of her daughter, is dying from an inoperable brain tumor, and Carter has been her solid support system. He has also vowed to be there as a father figure for Beth when the time comes after Liam passes.

Carter believes that a family with Hope is what lies directly ahead of him, so how will Daphne’s news change this? Even if he is determined to stay with Hope while co-parenting with Daphne, how will Hope handle that situation? She believes that nothing more than a kiss was ever shared between Carter and the perfumer, so what will she do when the truth is actually revealed?

Fans also can’t count out the possibility of Hope and Liam reuniting if Dr. Buckingham’s treatment works. The two have reconnected on a deep level because he believes in his impending death. Where will that leave them emotionally if he is saved?

The drama all starts this week on B&B as Daphne struts her way back into Forrester’s offices.
