It has been quite a year for Lisa Yamada, who plays Luna Nozawa on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She took the sweet, somewhat boring Forrester intern and turned her into one of the very best villains, maybe in all of soap history. It has been like watching two completely different characters collide, sometimes mid-sentence, thanks to the brilliance of the young actress.
On July 10, 2025, Lisa Yamada was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series. The actress took to Instagram to share her joy with the B&B fans who believe that she has been the shot in the arm that the show needed.
Lisa Yamada Says Her Career Feels Like a ‘Pipe Dream’

In an Instagram Story that has since disappeared, Yamada stated that she had been on a plane when the nominees were first announced, but not long after landing, she shared her joy in a post.
“impostor syndrome goin crazy rn

Lisa Yamada Also Has Other Projects on the Way
It appears that the character of Luna Nozawa may have met her demise, but true soap fans know that death is negotiable and people often return to life in the world of daytime. As we wait to see what happens to Luna, her portrayer has a few other projects coming to a big or small screen near you.
Lisa announced on Instagram that she has a new film. “Wish You All the Best,” coming to theaters on November 7, 2025.
Then there is that spot that she has landed in “Elle,” the prequel to “Legally Blonde” that is coming to Amazon Prime.
While Luna Nozawa’s true fate may hang in the balance, it’s pretty clear that Lisa Yamada’s career is only just now beginning to take
