“Beyond the Gates” may be only a few months old, but the CBS sudser has caught on quickly. The Dupree family is at the center of the series, but there is plenty of drama and mystery swirling around to keep even a new viewer intrigued.
A brand new spoiler video for BTG has dropped, so let’s check out what is ahead for the week of July 14-18.
Vernon and Bill Clash
EntertainmentNOW/CBSThis week’s spoiler clip begins with Vernon storming into the Dupree home to find Hayley in Bill’s lap, waiting for him. “Who the hell do you think you are, summoning me? And what’s so damned urgent?” Vernon demands. He hasn’t been able to stand Bill since he divorced his daughter, Dani.
Next in the clip, we see Bill at the Fairmount Crest Country Club sitting at the bar chatting with his ex-wife, Dani. “One Dupree is enough. You know, I’ve met my ‘read for filth’ quota.” Dani leans in and says, “Daddy really got under your skin tonight.”
Smitty Is Tired of the Run-Around Treatment
Smitty is fed up with the way that Martin has been treating him. He is haunted by something, as evidenced by his treatment of everyone around him. This week, Smitty confronts his husband, saying, “It’s a good thing that I’m not the type of man who gives ultimatums. Like, if you walk out of that door, don’t bother coming back,” Smitty says. Martin looks shocked, but will he be shocked enough to come clean?
The spoiler clip then jumps to Jacob and Naomi’s home, where the two are talking. “Martin wants protection from the crooked cop that his husband is investigating?” she asks, trying to understand the details of the story that her husband has just shared. “Look, if you ask me, something weird is going on,” he confides.

According to SheKnows, a bad situation gets worse when Martin winds up having a physical fight!
Hayley’s last attempt to bond with Ashley didn’t go particularly well. Will Bill’s bride have better luck this time?
Madison continues to wonder if she rushed into things with Chelsea, who works to assure her that they are on the same page.
