‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoiler Clip for Aug. 18: Danger and Lies

This week’s BTG spoiler clip opens at Smitty and Martin’s home. We hear Smitty say, “Martin, I think we have a situation.” Is he referring to the fact that the biological mother of their kids is Naomi’s new friend, or something else? The spoilers also clued us into the fact that these two will have to fight off an intruder this week.

In the next scene, we see Ashley at the hospital nurses’ station. She has finally decided to confront Andre about kissing Dani. “I didn’t lie,” he tells her, and Ashley fires back with, “I saw you and Dani Dupree all over each other.”

Nicole has filed for divorce and is with her parents, Anita and Vernon, when Vanessa stops by for a visit. “But I have some news, and you’re not going to like it,” Vanessa tells them.

The Truth Hurts

Eva has stopped by to visit her mother, Leslie. She watches her getting ready and realizes that her mom is on a mission. “Why the rush? And why is Anita Dupree the first person you need to see?” she asks. Everything has changed for Leslie now that her biological mother has shown up and revealed her family tree. Anita is in for a huge shock.

Leslie does clue Eva in on what is going on and then heads out to talk to Anita, who doesn’t want to hear anything she has to say. The clip shows Leslie looking like she has been slapped, and Vernon runs to check on her. We hear Anita then yell, “Get that woman out of my house.”

Kat and Chelsea are living in Dani’s house and having a great time, literally jumping up and down, laughing. In the very next scene, we see Chelsea being chloroformed from behind. Is it Madison, or Allison, or someone else who has put her in danger?
