Find out Which Couples Split & Who Said ‘I Do’ on ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8

Leading up to the Season 8 finale of “Love Is Blind,” which Netflix released on March 7, four couples were engaged to get married: Joey and Monica, Virginia and Devin, Taylor and Daniel, and Sara and Ben.

The first couple at the altar was Sara and Ben, who struggled to find common ground on their religious beliefs. As the officiant asked Sara if she would take Ben’s hand in marriage, she said, “I love you so much, but I’ve always wanted a partner to be on the same wavelength. And so today, I can’t.”

Ben replied, “I care about you too and I love you so much. And I know I want to stay with you and keep growing our relationship if you’ll let me.” Sara laughed and said, “We’ll see. We’ll talk about that.”

Sara later explained that she wished Ben could have delved deeper into social and political matters. “Whatever you believe, at least have the conversation. There was no like, curiosity coming from his side.”

Monica and Joey had a fun-loving relationship, but when faced with marriage, both weren’t ready. She told him, “In this moment, it’s 100 percent … and I just feel like we’re not quite there.”

Joey assured Monica, “That’s totally okay and we have a tremendous amount of love for each other.” He added, “There’s bigger things and bigger growth, and I agree.” The two hugged and seemed to leave on good terms despite not going through with the wedding.

Virginia and Devin both seemed excited to get married to each other, but in a surprising twist, after Devin said “I do” at the altar, the healthcare recruiter tearfully answered, “I love you so much but I’m just not ready.” Devin broke into tears and Virginia walked away as everyone looked on in shock.

Virginia later revealed that her hesitation stemmed from Devin not wanting to talk about politics or other important matters. “There were just certain things that he didn’t want me to push on so there were just like, depths of our relationship that we didn’t get to,” she said.

There was also suspicion surrounding a check that Devin received as a wedding present, which he didn’t mention to Virginia. “It made me not so trusting of him. It was ultimately my decision on how I want to spend the rest of my life.”

Taylor & Daniel Were the Only ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Couple to Get Married

Taylor and Daniel quickly bonded over their love of Christmas, but things took a slight hit when she questioned if he saw her picture on social media before the experiment. After Daniel insisted that he hadn’t, Taylor eventually believed him and they were able to move on from the incident.

Since then, Taylor and Daniel experienced no bumps in their relationship and their wedding day went without a hitch. As they stood at the altar, Daniel told Taylor, “I promise to always be honest and loyal to you and I promise to always keep faith and family at the core of our marriage. And, I promise to always try to make you laugh.”

When it came time for their vows, Taylor and Daniel both said, “I do.” Taylor later told the camera, “We are so excited to start the next chapter as Mr. and Mrs. Hastings.”

The ‘Love Is Blind’ Cast Will Reunite for the Season 8 Reunion

Netflix released the “Love Is Blind” Season 8 reunion trailer on March 7, and it begins with Vanessa Lachey asking Dave how his sister felt after watching the show, which was a point of contention between him and Lauren.

Virginia then reveals of her breakup with Devin, “The night before the wedding, I saw a note from an ex-girlfriend on his nightstand.”

In another clip, Sara said of Ben, “I totally fell for it. He slid into one of the other cast members’ DMs.” As the cast members spill more tea about each other, Madison brought receipts showing a screenshot of text messages she received.

The trailer ends with Lachey questioning Dave, “Do you feel like Lauren is the one that got away?” Viewers will find out his answer on March 9 at 9 pm EST on Netflix.
