Discovery Channel’s “Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing” Season 3 has already given fans a few unexpected eliminations since it premiered on May 18, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. ET on the Discovery Channel.
As the reality TV competition heads into Episode 6, audiences see how the Australian Outback is taking its toll on the competitors, both mentally and physically. But the question everyone wants answered is simple: Which survivalists have lost their chance at winning the $100,000 cash prize?
Who Is Competing on ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’ Season 3
“Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing” Season 3 sees the return of familiar faces who have competed on the franchise before. At the start of the series, there were 14 seasoned survivors: Matt Wright, Laura Zerra, Jermaine Jackson, Max Djenohan, Ky Furneaux, Suzänne Zeta, Trish Bulinsky, Kaila Cumings, Trent Nielsen, Cheeny Plante, Jamie Frizzell, Kaiela Hobart, Darrin Reay, and Patrick French.
Fans of the show will know that eliminations can happen in several ways: a survivalist can choose to tap out voluntarily, for whatever reason, they can be medically evacuated, or eliminated by other contestants. Competing in the harsh weather conditions and surrounded by creepy crawlies takes serious dedication, but fan favorite Ky Furneaux did not tap out. Earlier in the season, she was medically evacuated because of abdominal swelling.
Joining Ky’s exit from the show are Trent, Kaila, Suzanne, Jamie, and Jermaine.
What Will Happen in ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’ Season 3, Episode 6?
The new episode will air on Sunday, June 22, and is titled “Down Under Siege.” But what can audiences expect? It will see the remaining contestants compete as solos. The synopsis for the episode also teases that medics are called after an injury involving hot coals.
Heading into Episode 6, only nine survivalists are remaining. They are: Matt, Laura, Max, Trish, Cheeny, Jamie, Kaiela, Patrick, and Darrin. Fans have reacted to the news of the remaining survivors on an Instagram post that shared the spoilers of who has gone home and who continues to struggle in the outback.
“Why does everyone dislike Trish? She has skills, I can’t criticize anyone because I wouldn’t make it one night!” a comment reads. “Matt sharing food shows once again he’s the GOAT,” another fan applauded Matt (who is a fan favorite to win the competition).
Other reactions include, “Ahhh Jermaine. Love u bro, disappointed,” “To me whatever happens the true legends are Laura and Matt and this competition will never change my mind,” and ”Laura I hope she gets it!!”
It’s taken a lot to get to this point. “Fan-favorite legends return to take on new challengers in an all-out battle of skill, innovation, and grit,” a description from the show’s press release reads, People reports. The winner will be determined by someone who can display “the best Bushcraft, ingenuity, and stamina to outlast their opponents in head-to-head, multiphase challenges.”
