‘Masterchef: Dynamic Duos’ Season 15 Episode 3 Recap
The chef teams were kept on their toes throughout the night in an emotional episode featuring several dramatic highs and lows.

The “Dynamic Duos” now faced an unexpected wave of extra competition.
All the contestants who had already earned their white aprons were sent to the balcony for a night of relaxation.
The challenge: “We wanna see three identical dishes. One for Joe, one for Tiffany, and one for myself,” explained Chef Gordon Ramsay.
The contestants had only 45 minutes to create three perfect plates.
The teams hit several stubbles throughout the dramatic timed test.
Ruined sauce! Lisa & Milah struggled with a failed sauce as the “Glammas” cooked up sizzling Southern fare during the heated race. Joe also scolded the pair for their “messy” cooking station.
A few minutes prior, the tough judges insisted Asa & Shanda’s rice was missing something. Even after tasting, they didn’t agree it was missing anything, but vowed never to cook rice again in the competition after having the dish criticized for the second week in a row.
Darce & Courtney made British Fish & Chips with banana as the cod created a vegan version of the classic for the judges consumption. Ramsay called the batter “light and crispy” and found the banana blossom “delicious.”
Milah & Lisa cooked up an herb-crusted lamb with rainbow carrots, a cauliflower puree, and a wine demiglace which was called “classy” by the panel, but Joe immediately called out the sauce for being broken.
Ramsay said the pair nailed the lamb, and Tiffany called the onions delicious, but the judges couldn’t get past the sauce fail, calling it a “fundamental aspect of the dish.”
Azu & Javier made Chiles en Nogada, a dish used in Mexico to celebrate their independence from the Spaniards, according to the team. Ramsay said the filling was delicious, despite being a “fast-track” version of something that usually takes several hours.
Joe found the dish a bit too sweet.
Jessica & Jesse also presented Ramsay, Tiffany and Joe with lamb lollipops. They said it represented “our first date on a plate.” The pair looked relieved as Ramsay called it “beautifully done.”
Spencer & McKenna presented a New York Strip steak with a peppercorn sauce. They said it offered “a little glimpse” of their table at home.
