10 Islanders have arrived in Fiji on a six-week quest for love. Will they make it to the end or will their journey be cut short?
Huda Mustafa, Olandria Carthen, Belle-A Walker, Yulissa Escobar, and Chelley Bissainthe will be the first five girls in the villa, while Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams, Austin Shepard, Ace Green, and Jeremiah Brown are the first five boys.

The Beginning
“Love Island USA” host Matthew Hoffman announced that this season they are introducing a speakeasy, sauna, and a photo booth in the villa.
Chelley Bissainthe (27 from Orlando, Florida) and Olandria Carthen (27 from Alabama) were the first to arrive, followed by Huda Mustafa (24 from Raleigh, North Carolina) as the third islander to arrive. Yulissa Escobar (27 from Miami, Florida) and Belle-A Walker (22 from Gold Beach, Oregon) were the final two girls to arrive, walking into the villa together.
Ariana Madix arrived, sitting down with the girls and asked them what they are each looking for this summer. But, they were quickly interrupted when two boys arrived.
Nicolas Vansteenberghe (24 from Jacksonville, Florida) and Ace Greene (22 from Los Angeles, California) walked into the villa, but Chelley immediately recognized Ace as the two had met in New York. Despite talking on Instagram for a bit, they lived in different places, and it was too hard to pursue anything more.
Taylor Williams (24 from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) arrived third, but was quickly followed by Jeremiah Brown (25 from Seattle, Washington) and Austin Shepard (26 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida).
Starting Things Off Different This Season
The girls get to make the choice, picking which girl they would like to couple up with. However, before they do, they can pick two boys to kiss first and make the decision after that.
The order is decided from a bag, as Madix picks each name.
Chelley is up first and decides to kiss Austin and Ace, but she ultimately couples up with Ace.
Huda is next up and kissed Jeremiah and Ace, who was already in a couple with Chelley. In the end, she picked Jeremiah.
Bell-A picked Taylor and Nicolas for her kisses, but opted to just let them kiss her on the cheek, living by her “no kissing on the first date” policy. She picked Nicolas.
Olandria decided to kiss Taylor and Nicolas for her kisses too, but ultimately picked “her own personal cowboy” (AKA Taylor).
That left the final decision to Yulissa, who had the power to steal any man from a current couple. She kissed Ace and Jeremiah, but decided to couple up with Ace. That left Chelley out of her original couple, and she went over to partner with Austin.

Sparks Fly Between Chelley and Ace
Having met once before the show, it was clear there was some unfinished business between Chelley and Ace. That was further confirmed when Chelley picked him to couple up with. But Ace was stolen by Yulissa shortly after.
The two still snuck away and took some time to chat on their second day in the villa, and it was clear that there were some sparks. However, Chelley is also vibing very well with Austin, with whom she was also immediately interested in.
Ariana Madix Arrives and Calls the Islanders to the Fire Pit
Whenever the host of “Love Island USA” arrives, it means there is always a twist. And her first one is allowing the islanders to kiss anyone that they might have their eye on, even if it’s outside of their couple.
All 10 islanders were told to put on a blindfold, so if they kissed someone or if they were kissed, it would remain anonymous.
Ace, Olandria, Nicolas, and Chelley all raised their hands when asked if they wanted to kiss someone other than who they were partnered with.
Nicolas was up first and decided to kiss Olandria.
Next up was Chelley, who, as expected, picked Ace.
When it was Olandria’s turn, she also walked over to Ace and kissed him.
Ace was last and went right over to Chelley. But before he kissed her, he appeared to whisper something in her ear. Ace then went over and kissed Huda as well.
Bombshell Alert
Two new islanders walked in, one boy and one girl. They then got the opportunity to take part in the game, but instead of just one islander, they kissed them all.
The two bombshells then walked off and went into the hideaway. Madix then introduced them, but decided to throw in another twist.
The islanders put the blindfolds back on, being asked if they enjoyed it and if they would like to get to know the bombshell better.
That’s where the episode ended! The first cliffhanger of the season.
