“RuPaul’s Drag Race” aired its first “All Stars” season 2012, welcoming back former competitors for a second shot at the crown and a coveted spot in the ‘Drag Race Hall of Fame.’ Early “All Stars” seasons saw the return, and eventual victory, of returning queens like Chad Michaels (All Stars 1), Alaska (All Stars 2), Trixie Mattel (All Stars 3), Monet X Change and Trinity the Tuck (All Stars 4), Shea Coulee (All Stars 5) and Kyle Sonique Love (All Stars 6).
In 2022, the spin-off series welcomed back eight previous winners to compete for “All Stars 7,” which ultimately ended with Season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon becoming the first “Drag Race” queen to win the competition twice.
The ‘All Winners’ season seemed to be a once-off, however, with the franchise returning to its trend of casting previously “Drag Race” queens for “All Stars 8,” “All Stars 9” and the currently airing “All Stars 10.”
Why Fans Think ‘All Winners 2’ is in the ‘Drag Race’ Pipeline
While there is no concrete proof that a second All Winners season of “All Stars” is on the way, fan speculation that the long-awaited season is forthcoming after Season 5 finalist and “All Stars 2” winner, Alaska, announced that she would be cancelling her upcoming Australian tour due to an undisclosed “scheduling conflict.”
In a statement posted to Instagram, Alaska informed fans: “Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, I am no longer able to join the Snatch Game LIVE Tour…the tour is still going ahead as planned with the other divas and I know it will be amazing. I’m so sorry I won’t be there.”

Eager fans took the cancellation as confirmation that Alaska had been cast on the hypothetical second season of “All Stars: All Winners.” The next season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” would likely film in July and August of 2025, based on previous filming schedules for the series.
Coincidentally, Alaska’s cancelled dates for the Snatch Game LIVE Tour are also spaced out across late-June and early-July. While it’s far from confirmation, Alaska’s “scheduling conflict” could very well line up with the taping of an upcoming “All Winners” season of “Drag Race.”
Responding to Alaska’s announcement, several fans put forth the theory in the comments, with one writing, “Best of luck with All Winners 2.”
Alaska previously expressed her interest in returning for an “All Winners” season, telling PinkNews: “I just love ‘Drag Race!’ And I love being in that bizarre, fake, pink room, and I would love to go back any time. If RuPaul called me, I would absolutely go.”
Which Former ‘Drag Race’ Winners are Down for a Second Shot at the Crown?
Since “All Stars 7,” the first all-winners season, “Drag Race” franchises across the world have crowned a total of 37 winners, with 18 of those coming from the show’s English-speaking franchises in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Australia.
In addition to Alaska, many “Drag Race” winners have admitted their interest in competing on a second “All Winners” season, including Season17 winner Nymphia Wind, who told Pride: “I would definitely do it, I had so much fun filming, so if I do get the opportunity, I would be very excited to go back.”
“All Stars 6” winner Kylie Sonique Love similarly expressed her interest in returning to the show, especially if it’s alongside her former roommate and Season 15 winner Sasha Colby.
“Everybody wants it to happen. It’s already been put out into the universe. It’s only a matter of time,” said Kylie in an interview with Gay Times in January.
Colby similarly said that she’d return to the competition in 2024, when she told PinkNews: “I love a good competition. I’m a pageant girl. So I’m always up, as long as my friends, and my support system are down to help me.”
“It’s never off the card,” added Colby.
Other “Drag Race” winners that have said they’d return for “All Winners 2” include Season 9’s Sasha Velour and Season 13’s Symone, as well as international franchise winners like Danny Beard, Ginger Johnson and Kyran Thrax from “Drag Race UK,” and “Canada’s Drag Race” Season 1 winner Priyanka.
Conversely, former winners like Bob the Drag Queen (Season 8), Trixie Mattel (All Stars 3), Bianca Del Rio (Season 6) and Violet Chachki (Season 7) have been less enthusiastic about returning to the “Drag Race” stage.
