‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10’ Bracket 1 Results: Who Advanced to the Semi-Finals?

SPOILERS!!! This post contains spoilers for “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10” Episode 3.

The first preliminary round of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10” has reached its conclusion, sending three queens through to the semi-finals of the competition. Over the course of the season’s first three episodes, the six queens in Bracket 1 – Aja, Bosco, Deja Skye, Irene the Alien, Olivia Lux, and Phoenix – have competed in a series of drag challenges to prove that they deserve a second shot at the crown.

Unlike other seasons of “Drag Race,” the “All Stars 10” queens learned during the May 9 premiere that they would not be eliminated on a weekly basis, but would instead be competing for points in the competition dubbed the “Tournament of All Stars.” After the first two challenges, Irene the Alien and Bosco had taken the lead with 4 points each. Aja followed close behind with 3 points, while the remaining three contestants had just 1 point each.

’RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10’ Episode 3 Recap

At the top of Episode 3, the four bottom queens from Episode 2 (Deja, Olivia, Phoenix, and Aja) were tasked with handing out their Most Valuable Queen (MVQ) points to one of their fellow competitors. Aja and Deja both gave their MVQ points to Olivia Lux, while Olivia and Phoenix awarded their points to Deja.

This left Aja, Deja, and Olivia tied for second place with 3 points each.

In this week’s maxi challenge, the queens were tasked with giving drag makeovers to women’s college basketball players. In addition to their makeovers, the queens and athletes were tasked with writing, recording, and choreographing verses for the original track “Shoot Your Shot.”

Actress Kate Beckinsale joined the judging panel as this week’s ‘extra-special’ guest judge, aiding host RuPaul in deciding which two queens excelled in the challenge. In the end, Irene the Alien and Bosco were announced as the Top 2 All Stars of the week.

Bosco and Irene similarly won the second episode of the season last week, with Bosco ultimately being declared the winner after the pair performed a show-stopping lip sync to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor.”

This week, however, Irene came out on top, out performing Bosco in a lip sync to “Pocketbook” by Jennifer Hudson. Irene, who was eliminated first on her original season, made history as the second “All Stars” contestant to win three consecutive challenges, with the first being BenDeLaCreme on “All Stars 3.”

Which Queens Advanced to the Semi-Final? Who Sashayed Away?

After winning the final lip sync, Irene the Alien was awarded an additional 3 points, while Bosco received an additional 2 points for her Top 2 performance. With 7 and 6 points respectively, the results of Episode 3 secured both queens a spot in the semi-finals.

This left Aja, Deja, Olivia, and Phoenix to determine the final contestant to move forward as RuPaul gave the queens one last opportunity to hand out MVQ points. On the main stage, the queens secretly cast their ballots and, in the end, both Olivia and Phoenix awarded their point to Aja, securing the queen’s place in the semi-finals.

Consequently, Deja, Olivia, and Phoenix were set to be cut from the competition…until RuPaul announced yet another twist. As the trio of queens prepared to sashay away, the host revealed that, at the end of the three preliminary rounds of the competition, each of the season’s regular judges will have the opportunity to select one eliminated queen they’d like to send to the semi-finals.

This means that, after Bracket 2 and 3 air, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Matthews, TS Madison, Law Roach (and potentially RuPaul herself) will get to select one of the nine eliminated queens that they’d like to see return to the competition. Of the selected queens, one will be choosing at random to return for the semi-finals as a Wild Card competitor.

For now, however, fans will have to say goodbye to Olivia Lux, Phoenix, and Deja Skye. Conversely, Aja, Bosco, and Irene the Alien will return to the competition for the semi-finals in Episode 10.

Bracket 2 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10” is set to begin next week, and will see former “Drag Race” contestants Kerri Colby, Lydia B Kollins, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks, Tina Burner, and Jorgeous face off in another trio of episodes.

Fans can catch new episodes of “All Stars 10” every Friday streaming on Paramount+
