Who Left on “Destination X”?
So… Who Got Eliminated Tonight?
The last remaining female contestant, Ally Bross, was eliminated in Venice during the eighth episode of Season 1 of “Destination X.”
The episode kicked off with the remaining players Biggy Bailey, Ally Bross, Shayne Cureton, Rick Szabo, and Peter Weber.
Host Jeffrey Dean Morgan greeted the group and surprised them by letting them off the bus without their signature blackout goggles. But the brief taste of freedom was short-lived: there would be no Map Room this round, but the game was far from over.
The players soon learned they’d be competing for power, represented by Venetian daggers. Split into gondolas, the contestants were tasked with memorizing ten masked figures they’d pass along the canals. Shayne and Ally teamed up, while Peter, Rick, and Biggy made up the second group. Each player’s memory would be tested in a follow-up challenge.
Ally, who revealed on-camera that she has Aphantasia—a condition that affects visual imagination—struggled with the task. Despite her difficulty, all five players successfully identified the correct masked figures during the challenge and earned three daggers apiece.
As tensions rose, it became clear that Rick was determined to separate love interests Ally and Shayne One fan questioned his strategy in the Destination X” Facebook Fan Page, writing, “Why would Rick fight so hard to break up the ‘power couple’? Peter is much more of a threat to him…
Alliances Begin to Fracture
As the players explored Venice, Rick and Peter quietly discussed breaking up the perceived power trio of Ally, Shayne, and Biggy. They approached Biggy with a proposal for a new alliance. While Biggy acknowledged his loyalty to Shayne, he admitted in his confessional that he felt caught in the middle and unsure of where to place his trust.
Later that evening, the players gathered for a masked dagger vote. Each contestant, hidden behind a mask, placed daggers in front of the skulls representing the players they wanted to eliminate. The three contestants with the most daggers would face off in the Garden of Lost Souls.
When the daggers were counted, Rick received four, while Peter, Ally, and Shayne each had three. Biggy, with only two, was safe and had to break the tie. After a tense deliberation, he chose to save Shayne, sending Rick, Peter, and Ally into the elimination challenge.
In the Garden of Lost Souls, the players were presented with tarot cards, each symbolizing a European location. Their task was to avoid selecting the card representing the location farthest from Venice. The contestant who chose that card would be eliminated.
Ally, Peter, and Rick took turns selecting cards. In a stunning final twist, Ally drew the “Death” card, which turned out to be the farthest location—over 1,300 miles from Venice—ending her journey.
