Brooke Shields Posts Fun Photo with Tribute to Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is likely best known for his long WWE career, but the impact he had on people spread far beyond wrestling. Fans and fellow stars from across the entertainment industry have shared heartwarming tributes to the late Hogan, including one-time co-star Brooke Shields. The actress took to Instagram with a funny throwback photo of Hogan and her.

“Rest easy, Hulk,” Shields wrote in the caption. As she explained, the photo came from when the pair stepped into the spotlight together on the series “Suddenly Susan.” “This moment… was a true highlight,” she wrote of arm-wrestling with the WWE star on set.

Hogan Appeared in Two Episodes of The Hit Series

Hogan may not seem like an obvious fit for a sitcom like “Suddenly Susan,” but he played a character that suited him well. Hogan appeared in two episodes of the show’s third season, part 1 and 2 of “In This Corner… Susan Keane!” as wrestler Hollywood Hogan.

In a throwback video from one of the episodes, Hogan trades comedic barbs with Shields and many other cast members. Shields’ character, Susan, threatens to run against Hollywood Hogan in an election, and even more hilarity ensues. Hogan arrives at a debate in true WWE style, entering the event with walkout music, flashing lights, and, of course, plenty of bicep flexing.

Many Other A-Listers Have Also Paid Tribute to The Wrestler

Of course, Shields isn’t the only Hollywood heavyweight that has paid their respects to Hogan since he passed away on July 24, 2025. Actors such as Sylvester Stallone, who starred with Hogan in “Rocky III,” have also shared touching messages about the wrestler and offered their condolences to his family. “My heart breaks,” Stallone wrote in an Instagram tribute post.

WWE stars past and present also shared their feelings about Hogan after his passing, including close friend Ric Flair. “Our friendship has meant the world to me. He was always there for me even when I didn’t ask for him to be,” Flair wrote on X soon after the news broke. Tributes were still pouring in on the days following Hogan’s death.
