Teddi Mellencamp is living with one of her former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars one month after announcing her divorce from her husband, Edwin Arroyave.
On the premiere episode of the “Diamonds in the Rough” podcast, Mellencamp, 43, told co-host Erika Jayne that she has been staying at Kyle Richards’ house. “So, I live at Kyle’s,” Mellencamp, 43, admitted during the December 5, 2024, podcast episode.
Jayne appeared to be surprised by the news. “Do you really? Holy [expletive],” she replied.
Richards is also separated. She announced her separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023. The exes continued to live together at their Encino, California estate until early 2024. Umansky has since moved into a West Hollywood condo.
Teddi Mellencamp Is Staying in Kyle Richards’ Glam Room
During the podcast, Mellencamp revealed that she switched off with Arroyave to stay at their family home with their three kids, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4. She explained that it made no sense to rent and furnish an apartment for just a few days per week, so on her nights without the kids, she stays at Richards’ house. “I just zip on over. It’s close, easy, she cooks, ” Mellencamp added of Richards.
“We’re just starting, we’re newly into it,” Mellencamp added of the arrangement. “But it does work out really well for the kids because then they, you know, we’re right around the corner, and you know, everything’s on the calendar. They know exactly when I come and go, vice versa.“
Mellencamp noted that her bedroom at Richards’ house is the upper level “glam room.” “Isn’t it great up there?” she said to Jayne. “It’s so cozy. … And the background’s beautiful, so we can start [podcasting] from there because the setup is…”
“So thankfully Kyle has let me do that,” she added. “You can’t make this [expletive] up. But I’m like, this is how you know that there are real friendships to be made on reality TV. “
Kyle Richards Previously Moved Into the ‘Glam’ Room
This is not the first time someone has moved into the “glam” room at Richards’ house. When Richards and Umansky first split—but before The Agency founder moved out of the house—Richards appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and explained that she moved out of the bedroom she once shared with her husband.
“I let him stay in the primary bedroom because it’s very masculine,” she told host Andy Cohen in November 2023. “Upstairs is like the ‘glam’ area and there’s a bed, so what am I going to do put them in a little room with flowers and you know, pink and velvet?”
