Sutton Stracke Addresses Questions About Former Assistant Avi Gabay

Sutton Stracke has “parted ways” with Avi Gabay, her longtime assistant and property manager—but she’s not telling exactly why.

During a May 6 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star played coy when grilled about the whereabouts of Gabay. Stracke also would not confirm whether she fired her assistant or if he found a new job.

Fans got to know Gabay on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” where he was often by Stracke’s side during filming.

Sutton Stracke Dodged Jeff Lewis’ Questions About Avi Gabay

During Stracke’s appearance on his podcast, Lewis noted that Gabay had not accompanied her to the studio as he usually did. “Where’s Avi?” he asked.

“Oh, I’m going to imagine that Avi’s at home,” Stracke replied.

When Lewis asked if Gabay was still working for her or had found a new job, Stracke was vague about what went down.  “In my opinion, Avi is no longer working with me,” she said. “Now we’re still friends. I love Avi. He’s like family. But he’s no longer working with me.”

Stracke danced around the question when asked if Gabay had found a new position elsewhere.

“Everything was working out, it’s just you know things evolve and so you know he’s no longer with me,” she told Lewis. “I don’t know [if he found another position]. I’ve been really busy. I’ve been traveling a lot in the past couple of months, so we haven’t really spoken.”

“Well, you know I’m about to just live by myself in my house, so things have just evolved and it’s different now,” the RHOBH star added. “Things have evolved, and you know, he was always an independent contractor. …We parted ways.”

When asked if the parting of ways was mutual, Stracke replied, “I’m not sure.”

Avi Gabay Worked For Sutton Stracke Since at Least 2023

Gabay’s Instagram profile used to say ‘Executive Property Manager for Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Sutton Stracke,” but it now simply says “Executive Property Manager.”

According to BravoTV.com, Gabay first appeared as Stracke’s right-hand man on the RHOBH Season 13 premiere, where he was assisting his boss at her boutique. He later curated a lunch for Stracke and her pal Jennifer Tilly.

“Avi is my assistant, but also house manager,” Stracke later said in a confessional.

Gabay has not spoken about what happened regarding his position as Stracke’s assistant.
