RHONY Season 16 Cast Shakeup—Who Is In & Who Is Out?

The “Real Housewives of New York” cast may be heading for a shakeup as Bravo has yet to confirm any contracts for season 16—at least, not yet.

1 ‘RHONY’ Cast Member Has Announced Her Exit

The season 15 cast of “RHONY” included Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Racquel Chevremont. Rebecca Minkoff also appeared as a friend of the housewives.

The fate of the main cast remains up in the air, but Minkoff has announced her departure. She cited a desire to focus on her family and business.

Meanwhile, a recent casting call suggests Bravo may be looking for fresh faces to bring some much-needed drama back to the Big Apple.

Should Bravo Bring Back Fan-Favorite OGs Come Back for Season 16?

With the RHONY reboot struggling to capture the magic of its early years, many fans are hoping for a return of some of the franchise’s most beloved alumni. Dorinda Medley, the queen of “making it nice,” is at the top of the wish list. Known for her razor-sharp wit and unforgettable parties at Blue Stone Manor, Medley’s dynamic personality could inject the excitement season 15 lacked.

Then there’s Bethenny Frankel, the self-made mogul who defined RHONY for years. Whether she was launching her Skinnygirl empire or delivering some of the series’ most legendary one-liners, Frankel brought both business acumen and biting humor to the show.

And let’s not forget Carole Radziwill—journalist, socialite, and unapologetic rule-breaker—whose effortless, cool, and candid takes on social issues would be a perfect fit for today’s RHONY.

Is It Time to Blend Old & New on RHONY?

Despite mixed reviews, some fans still see potential in the rebooted cast—especially Lyons. The former J.Crew executive brought fresh energy to the show, and her understated yet confident presence stood out in a sea of reality TV chaos.

If Bravo is looking to bridge the gap between old and new, Lyons could be the perfect link to a blended cast that includes both veterans and fresh faces.

Whether Bravo decides to stick with the new cast, bring back familiar favorites, or create a hybrid lineup, one thing is clear: RHONY needs to make some changes. Fans are eager for a return to the high-stakes drama, sharp humor, and glamorous New York lifestyle that made the show a hit in the first place. Will the network listen? Only time will tell. But if there’s one thing we know about the “Real Housewives” franchise, it’s that nothing stays the same for long.

All episodes of the “Real Housewives of New York” are available on Peacock.
