SNEAK PEEK: Photos of ‘Real Housewives’ Filming Around Rhode Island

Exclusive photos captured multiple cast members of the upcoming “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” filming scenes in Providence and East Greenwich, obtained by GoLocal on Wednesday, June 25. The sightings mark the first confirmed footage of the newest Bravo franchise in action, giving fans an early preview of what to expect from the highly anticipated series.

The filming locations showcased Rhode Island’s charm, with crews setting up elaborate shoots at popular local establishments. Production teams were spotted with full camera equipment, production vans, and even a limousine. The large scale of the operation was clear as Bravo brings its signature reality TV formula to the smallest state.

Bravo officially announced the series on May 7, describing it as set “against the shores of the Ocean State.” The show also features “a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations.”

Providence Scene Steals the Show

The Providence filming session featured suspected cast member Rosie Woods DiMare, a DJ and former television news anchor. She was accompanied by her husband, Rich. GoLocal’s exclusive photography captured the couple in a carefully orchestrated scene on Wickenden Street in the Fox Point neighborhood.

The elaborate sequence showed the DiMares arriving in a pink Jeep before making their way to the Diamond Bar. They came with a full camera crew tracking their every move. The highly choreographed nature of the shoot was typical of the professional production value that Real Housewives fans have come to expect from the franchise.

An employee at the Diamond Bar confirmed the filming activity when contacted by The Newport Daily News, stating: “All I can say is that people saw someone who was rumored to be participating at our store yesterday.”

The series is using the Providence location on Wickenden Street as one of several Rhode Island settings, with crews capturing scenes in the Fox Point neighborhood’s popular dining district.

East Greenwich Brings Waterfront Glamour

Meanwhile, in East Greenwich, production crews captured footage at Water Street Kitchen. The scenic bayside restaurant provided the perfect setting for intimate cast conversations. GoLocal’s photography revealed Elizabeth McGraw, another suspected cast member. She was dining and drinking at a high-top table while engaged in discussion with an unidentified companion.

The waterfront restaurant provided a scenic backdrop for filming, with its bayside location offering views of the water. Production vans and a limousine filled the parking lot during the shoot, showing the scale of the production operation.

Water Street Kitchen displayed a large consent-to-film notice, a standard practice for reality TV productions that signals official filming activity. Like the Diamond Bar, the restaurant declined to provide detailed comments about the filming. The Bar employees maintained the confidentiality typical of pre-broadcast productions.

Andy Cohen, the franchise’s executive producer, has expressed enthusiasm about the Rhode Island cast. He told Page Six: “The cast is incredible. They are very Italian. Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections.”

“The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” represents the 11th franchise in the successful series. It joins established shows from Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, Potomac, Salt Lake City, Miami, Dubai, Dallas, and Washington, DC. The series promises to explore what Bravo describes as “aspirational lives, thriving businesses and tangled family dynamics.” This will all occur within Rhode Island’s unique social landscape.

Cohen’s comments about the cast’s Italian heritage and interconnected relationships suggest the show will delve deep into Rhode Island’s rich cultural traditions and tight-knit community dynamics. “I think it’s going to really surprise people,” he added, building anticipation for the series debut. While Bravo has not yet announced an official premiere date, the active filming schedule suggests that production is well underway.
