Fan favorite, Dr. Nicole Martin, left the “Real Housewives of Miami” to focus on her family shortly after the birth of her second child. Now that her daughter is a bit older, the reality star is considering what it would take to bring her back to the popular Housewives franchise.
On her “Scrubs to Stilettos” podcast, Nicole said that a “cast shakeup” is needed because certain castmates are “not good people.”
Nicole Says That Filming Was a Positive Experience for Her

Before a new season of RHOM began filming, Nicole exited the cast, citing postpartum anxiety. When the cameras returned, her daughter was five months old, and she decided to remain off camera.
Nicole recently discussed her experience with the series, saying, “As stressful as it was, there were a lot of positives to filming,” she explained. “It was a huge personal growth experience. I think I was pushed outside of my comfort zone. I became much more confident. I learned about boundary setting. I resolved a lot of issues with my dad through filming. It gave me a huge platform to launch a skincare line and to build my social media. There were a lot of pros, so don’t get me wrong. I’m super appreciative of the Bravo universe. They treated me very well. Andy was always a gem.”
Nicole Martin Would Return to RHOM, Under Certain Conditions
Now that she has been away from the Bravo series for a while, Nicole admits that she wouldn’t rule out a return.
“I say never say never,” she went on. “When I had Genevieve, I had postpartum anxiety, and I already explained how filming was anxiety-provoking for me as it is. Now that Genevieve is bigger, would I consider coming back? I would.”
That time to reflect has also helped Nicole to understand what her boundaries would look like in order for a return to happen
“There are people that I think are just not good people that I think are just looking for an aha TV moment, and they will stop at nothing to get that,” she said. “And I just don’t feel safe filming with them because I think they’re liabilities … [Viewers] like the arguing and the fighting and the drama. It’s what’s entertaining and what’s engaging, you know? Nobody wants to see women thriving and going to work and juggling all these things.”
Nicole Is Also Open to Doing a Different Reality Show
Not only is Nicole now open to returning to RHOM, but she also would consider doing a different kind of reality series.
“I think Traitors or something like a mental-challenge game, that would be super fun because I like the mental aspect of it. I like the challenge part of it. I would always do a cooking show. I love to cook. I love to be in the kitchen. I was a former cheerleader [so] I would do Dancing with the Stars. There’s reality TV that I would definitely do.”
Who knows, maybe there is a “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” in Nicole’s future!
