“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum Monica Garcia announced that she has welcomed her fifth child.
On April 17, Garcia took to her Instagram account to share that she and her boyfriend, Braxton Knight, had their first child together. The former Bravo star has four older children, Bri, Jaidyn, West, and Kendall, fathered by her ex-husband, Mike Fowler.
The Instagram upload featured several videos of Garcia and Knight with their new baby in their arms. The final clip showed Garcia while she was pregnant with her youngest child. In the text overlying the video, Garcia said she did not intend to get pregnant at 40 but was grateful for the experience.
She paired the upload with the song, “To Our Daughter (Lullaby)” by My Best Friend Jacob.

Several Bravo stars took to the post’s comments section to congratulate Garcia on her new arrival.
For instance, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania wrote, “Beautiful beautiful baby god bless.” In addition, “Real Housewives of Dubai” star Chanel Ayan commented, “Yes congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” “Real Housewives of Dallas” alum Tiffany Moon also left a string of red heart emoji in the comments section.
Monica Garcia Was Private About Her Pregnancy Until March 2025
Garcia revealed her pregnancy during a March 2025 interview with People magazine. While speaking to the publication, she explained her decision to not publicly speak about her pregnancy until her third trimester. She noted that she had a miscarriage in 2024 and felt like she needed to “protect [her] peace” during this pregnancy. Garcia explained, “that miscarriage was my lowest point with being in the public eye.”
“I wasn’t going to put myself through that again, for the sake of the pregnancy and the baby,” said Garcia during the People magazine interview.
Garcia, who appeared in RHOSLC season 4, also said she would be blocking individuals who leave negative comments on her social media accounts in a March 6 Instagram upload. She seemed to reference that she stopped filming the Bravo series after it was revealed she was involved with the RHOSLC-focused gossip account, Reality Von Teese.
“This is a space for the amazing people in my life! My incredible friends, family, amazing supporters, the best fans that have stood by me, and for people wanting or needing reassurance and proof that after your biggest mistakes in life, there is more still waiting for you on the other side of it all! You are so much more than your past!” wrote Garcia in the post’s caption.
Monica Garcia Spoke About Leaving RHOSLC
In a July 2024 interview on the “Behind The Velvet Rope” podcast, Garcia spoke about leaving RHOSLC.
According to Garcia, several of her former RHOSLC castmates did not want to film with her again because of her involvement with the Reality Von Teese account. She said that she “knew [she] would not be coming back” to the show before producers informed her that her contract had not been renewed. Garcia also clarified that production were “very kind and very nice” to her during her time on the series.
