Lisa Barlow revealed that her son Henry questioned producers of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” about a season 5 scene he didn’t approve of.
Speaking with Page Six in December 2024, Barlow shared that Henry,12, felt as though he got “bad editing” in a scene that showed him playing video games. “He’s like, ‘Why did they have Angie [Katsanevas] say I game all the time and then they showed me gaming?’” Barlow said. “Yeah, he talked to production about it. … He’s just like, ‘You did me dirty.’”
Barlow described her outspoken son as a “resilient, cool kid” who is “wise beyond his years.”
In the RHOSLC season 5 episode titled ‘Mafia Wives and Bad Vibes,” Katsanevas made a comment that insinuated Barlow lets her son “game until 2 in the morning.” Footage of Henry playing video games then popped up in the scene.
Angie K. Defended Her Comment About Lisa Barlow’s Son

During an appearance on the “RHOSLC After Show,” Katsanevas explained why she brought up Barlow’s parenting to begin with. “Number one, I never called Lisa a bad mom,” she said according to BravoTV.com, before noting that Barlow brought up her daughter, Elektra, first during their argument. “We should never bring each other’s kids up,” she added.
Barlow didn’t take it that way. “I mean, it’s such an insult to me and Henry that Angie told Heather [Gay] that I’m basically a bad mom because my kids are up playing video games ’til [2] in the morning, which would never happen,” she said on the After Show.
Lisa Barlow Broke Down in a Scene About Henry’s Birthday

With Barlow’s oldest son, Jack, out of the country on a Mormon mission during filming, her younger son Henry has been featured on the show a bit more.
In a scene from the season 5 episode “The Huzzbands,” Barlow broke down to her sister Denise as she revealed that she wanted to throw a birthday party for Henry, but no one came. “Around his birthday party, he sent out a last-minute invite to kids and they went to another kid’s party instead of his,” she said. “And then he was so embarrassed, he was like ‘I don’t even want to go.’”
Barlow revealed that as she drove Henry to the party, she felt a lot of guilt over the situation. “Like did I let him down?” she wondered. “Because hearing him so upset in the back seat of the car, I felt so bad for him.”
In a confessional, Barlow admitted, “The one thing I dissect is how I am as a mom.”
