Kyle Richards broke her silence on Dorit Kemsley’s recent divorce filing.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star answered fan questions during an Amazon Livestream on April 28. During the livestream, Richards was asked for her reaction to Kemsley filing for divorce from her husband, PK.
“That’s just always sad to me,” Richards said. “And I love her and her family and her kids. So it’s just sad. That’s all I can say about that.”
Richards has been separated from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, since July 2023, but neither has filed for divorce. Richards has said multiple times that divorce isn’t something she talks about with her ex.
Richards and Kemsley had a rocky relationship while filming “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” last year. The two have worked on repairing their friendship, but fans will have to wait to see if Kemsley leans on Richards when the show resumes filming. On the livestream, Richards did not confirm if she is returning to the Bravo reality show and said she’s “not 100 percent sure yet about [when filming begins].
Dorit Kemsley Filed For Divorce Nearly 1 Year After Separating From PK

The move to file for divorce came nearly a year later, hours after PK was photographed kissing new flame Shana Wall outside Cipriani’s restaurant in Beverly Hills, Us Weekly reported. Wall is the ex-girlfriend of “American Idol” and “Wheel of Fortune” host Ryan Seacrest.
According to TMZ, in court documents filed in Los Angeles County on April 25, Dorit asked for sole legal and physical custody of the former couple’s children, Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9.
Erika Jayne Also Reacted To Dorit’s Divorce Filing
GettyRichards isn’t the only RHOBH star who has been asked about Dorit’s divorce. Co-star Erika Jayne was asked for her reaction while speaking with Us Weekly.
“I literally just found out online like everyone else, maybe an hour ago, and, obviously, I reached out to her,” Jayne told the outlet on April 25. “She’s got more important things to do than to talk to me right now.”
“How does anybody feel when they hear that a family’s broken up? You feel badly,” the “Pretty Mess” singer added. “This is sad. It’s a sad thing.”
Erika Jayne has been separated from her ex, Tom Girardi, since 2020, and their divorce is in limbo.
