“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy Hilton shared an aerial view of the Palisades fire in California on her Instagram Stories — and the video is simply chilling.
“My sister @theshorttermshorty friend @kit__yang just flew into @flylaxairport and this was the view from above,” Instagram user Sarah Pilla captioned a Reel on January 7.
Hilton commented on the post with a string of prayer hand emoji and also reshared the video on her account.
According to CalFire, more than 29,000 acres have been set ablaze. The Palisades fire is the largest with more than 17,000 acres burned since it started on January 7. As of January 9, the fire is 0% contained and continues to grow due to high winds and arid conditions.
Some Fans Wondered if Kathy Hilton Was Okay
Hilton hasn’t shared any personal updates about her home, but it seems as though she may be out of the evacuation zone.
“I’m not sure where you and your family live, I pray all of you are safe and okay!!” one person wrote.
“Prayers for you and your family homes. I saw Paris’s update . Devastated. sending love and good healing energy and watery energy LA’s way,” someone else said.
There have been homes associated with the Beverly Hills franchise that haven’t survived the wildfires. One of those homes includes the one formerly owned by Yolanda Hadid.
“Tragic… Carbon Canyon is gone,” Foster wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Kathy Hilton’s Daughter’s Home Was Destroyed
Hilton’s daughter Paris Hilton lost her home in the fires. After evacuating, Paris Hilton and her family found out that her home has succumbed to the fires after watching the news.
“Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she captioned an Instagram post.
“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” Paris Hilton continued.
The mom of two said that she and her family are safe, which is most important.
“My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable,” she wrote.
Kathy Hilton left some emoji on her daughter’s Instagram post. And, “Real Housewives” executive producer Andy Cohen let Paris Hilton know that he was thinking of her.
“I am so sorry,” he wrote in the comments section along with a broken heart emoji.
