Garcelle Beauvais is leaving “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The Bravo TV personality announced her exit from the show in an Instagram video shared with fans on March 25, hours before the season 14 finale was set to air on Bravo.
“Hi guys, I have some news,” Beauvais said in the clip. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

In the video message, Beauvais went on to explain that one of the reasons she was leaving RHOBH after five seasons was due to her family.
“My boys,” she said, referencing her teen sons Jax and Jaid Nilon. She noted that her twin sons’ last year of high school will be starting next year, and that her son Jaid was starting a new career as a model. Beauvais said she wants to “be there for that.”
Beauvais also teased that she has some exciting acting and producing projects in the works that she couldn’t share publicly yet. She offered thanks to Andy Cohen, Bravo, and the production company, as well as her co-stars and the fans.
Beauvais also noted, “Andy Cohen said I can come back any time, the door is always open. So you never know, I might pop back in some time.”
“It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later,” she concluded. “So, see you later.”
Beauvais captioned the post with, “CHEERS TO THE NEXT CHAPTER 🙏🏽🥂💕”
Garcelle Beauvais Was Proud to Be the 1st Black RHOBH Star

Beauvais made history as the first-ever Black cast member on RHOBH when she joined the show in 2020.
When she first joined the Bravo hit, she told E! News the casting decision was long overdue. “It’s about time,” she said of the addition of a Black cast member. “I mean, we’re in every zip code, are we not? So, hello!”
At the time, fans knew Beauvais from her film roles, including “Coming to America.”
“I think the world is ready to see me in a different light,” she said in 2020. “As an actor, you’re always putting on a character. But this is me, it’s my boys, it’s my ex, it’s my new boo, it’s everything.”
She also admitted that while she always watched RHOBH, she didn’t realize how “crazy” it was to be in it.
In addition to Beauvais, the 14th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” starred Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, and Bozoma Saint John. Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton were “friends of.”
