“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais is sharing her thoughts on season 14 as it has started airing. Beauvais shared her thoughts on the season so far, and her co-stars Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s on-screen animosity, in an interview with ExtraTV from The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala on December 4, telling the outlet, “Dorit and Kyle are revving up for their conversations. They’re having a hard time… We feel for them but no [their marital troubles have not brought the group closer together]. It wouldn’t be a Housewife if we really felt and then didn’t do anything [to help].”
Beauvais went on to tease the group spa outing that fans should expect to see within the next few weeks. In the season 14 teaser, Bravo shared a clip of Richards storming out of the event and yelling out, “I’m done! I’m not doing this anymore!”
“That was the biggest blowup. I thought Kyle quit [the show]. I really thought she quit. I really thought, that was it, she had enough,” Beauvais told ExtraTV of the blow-up.

Beauvais also opened up with ExtraTV about season 14 as a whole. She shared, “It’s a different kind of energy [than her previous seasons on the show] but it’s really fun. I feel like there’s a re-freshness to the show, you know what I mean? I think everybody’s playing, everybody’s here to play, and it just feels like old school Beverly Hills again. The friendships, the fun, the glamour. It’s not toxic.”
One element that might be contributing to this new energy is the addition of two new castmates, Housewife Bozoma Saint John and Friend of the Housewives Jennifer Tilly (who joins the show through Beauvais’ on-screen bestie, Sutton Stracke). “Jennifer Tilly is a lot of fun. I love Jennifer Tilly, I love her. She is a riot. Boz, we also have a new Housewife, Boz, she’s fabulous. We’re just getting started,” Beauvais said of the new additions.
Garcelle Beauvais Explains Why She Didn’t Reach Out to Dorit Kemsley
As evidenced on RHOBH season 13, Beauvais and Kemsley are not the best of friends, which is exactly why Beauvais didn’t reach out to Kemsley when the news of her separation broke.
“We weren’t in a good place after we finished the the reunion, so it would have felt very hypocritical,” Beauvais told Deadline in a November 2024 interview from Bravo Fan Fest in Miami. “I felt for her, and I said so in when I was interviewed on red carpets, but it would have felt hypocritical if I reached out to her, because we weren’t in a good space.”
Despite not being on the best of terms coming into season 14, Beauvais said she and Kemsley reached a better place by the end of filming, saying, “It’s really hard to tell you [as] the season is new. I don’t know what’s being said, whether online [or] offline, so hopefully one day we can resolve it and be friends.”
