Garcelle Beauvais shared the first photos of her new granddaughter.
On February 1, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star posted a slideshow to Instagram hours after announcing the arrival of her second grandchild, Valley Marie-Claire Saunders.
The baby girl is the daughter of Beauvais’ eldest son Oliver Saunders and his girlfriend, Shantei Paranada. The baby was born on January 31 and weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, per a birth announcement posted on Saunders’ Instagram page.

Beauvais’ Instagram post featured a series of her holding baby Valley and feeding her a bottle. The proud grandma smiled widely as she held the baby girl, who was swaddled in a pink onesie with butterflies on it. Seated next to Beauvais was her grandson, Oliver Jr., who looked delighted by his baby sister.
“Love at first sight!!!” Beauvais captioned the post. “My heart is so full 🙏🏽🙏🏽 #granddaughter Valley Marie congratulations @iamoliversaunders @sparanada #oliverjunior 💙#grandson.”
Beauvais’ son commented with, “Love you ALL with ALL My Heart!”
The RHOBH star also received plenty of love from fans, friends, and her co-stars.
“Ahhhhh beautiful!!! Congratulations!!!!” wrote RHOBH cast member Bozoma Saint John.
“Congratulations!” added Kyle Richards.
Camille Grammer and Kathy Hilton also posted a series of heart emoji.
Garcelle Beavais’1st Grandchild Was Born in 2020
Beauvais has been a doting grandmother for nearly five years. In February 2020, she welcomed her first grandson, Oliver Jr., just before her debut as a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The baby boy is the son of Oliver and his now ex-wife Samantha.
At the time, Beauvais posted to her Instagram page to share the big baby news with her fans. “Introducing my grandson [Oliver Junior],” the “Black Girl Missing” star captioned photos of the family posing with the newborn. “It’s Oliver’s birthday but I received an amazing gift… so full of love, what should my grandma name be???”
Weeks later, Beauvais was saddened when she was unable to see the new baby in person due to the early restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. In April 2020, she told The Daily Dish that she hadn’t seen Oliver Jr. amid the stay-at-home orders in place at the time.
“I am so excited,” she said of the arrival of her grandchild. “[But] because of social distancing, I haven’t been able to hold him, and they don’t live in L.A. …We FaceTime, we Zoom, and I just want him to know my voice and to know me. And so, I can’t wait until we can get back to normal, and I can go see him as soon as I can.”
