Erin Lichy Reveals How She Found Friendship With ‘Summer House’ Star

Erin Lichy revealed how she first met  ”Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard—and it wasn’t through the Bravo Universe. In August 2025, the “Real Housewives of New York City” star answered fan questions on Instagram, and one follower asked her how she became such good friends with Hubbard.

“So Lindsay and my close friend [Alexandra Smith] were at a wedding together years ago and (not sure why) but they wound up swapping dresses in bathroom and became friendly,” Lichy wrote.  “When we figured that out, we all went to dinner and we’ve been friends ever since. We got closer since she became a mom. I love Gemma she is DELISH.”

Hubbard was a main cast member on “Summer House” for 9 seasons, while Lichy is eyeing her third season as a star on RHONY. Both women welcomed babies over the past year. Hubbard’s first child, Gemma, was born in December 2024, and in March 2025, Lichy welcomed her fourth child, a baby boy named Jack Hunter.

Fans have seen Lichy and Hubbard’s friendship play out on social media over the past year. In March 2025, the two met up for a girls’ day out in New York City with their daughters.

At the time, Lichy posted to her Instagram stories as her daughter, Layla, posed next to Hubbard’s daughter Gemma’s baby carriage at a restaurant. A second photo showed Layla sitting in the restaurant booth, feeding baby Gemma a bottle. “Gemma is edible,” Lichy captioned the sweet snaps.

In April, Hubbard was also photographed attending Jack Lichy’s bris, which was held at Oases Café in New York City, according to BravoTV.com.

There have long been rumors that Hubbard could join the RHONY cast next season.

Speaking with Us Weekly in a March 2025 interview, Lichy said she planned to float the idea to her friend. “I’m actually having lunch with her and our daughters in a little while. So I’m gonna talk to her about that,” Lichy said of Hubbard. “I need to hear what she really thinks. …[She would] be great, to be honest.”

Hubbard told Access Hollywood’s “Housewives  Nightcap” that she texts “with Erin all the time. “I really get along with her,” she added. “We have mutual friends and, yeah.”
