Dolores Catania thinks there’s a good reason why “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast members haven’t heard a peep about season 15.
In a December 2024 interview with The Sun, the Bravo star speculated that the network and producers are fed up with the cast after last year’s rocky season. Noting that the cast’s “fighting got out of hand,” Catania told the outlet, “A lot of things leaked, a lot of things [came out] on social media that shouldn’t have been, a lot of fighting outside [the show]. It just got too messy.”
“We have heard nothing from the bosses about our show. Nothing,” she added. “Nothing from production nothing from NBC, we’re not even talking about it.”
“They’re probably just so mad at us by now, I’m not sure they know what to do,” Catania speculated of Bravo producers.
Catania previously told People magazine that her cast made a “mess” of things last season. “I’m a little mad that everybody couldn’t get it together. I really am,” she stated.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has been on “pause” for months, with rumors that a full cast reboot could occur.
The 14th season of the Bravo reality show starred Catania, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, and “friends” Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.
Dolores Catania Thinks the Ensemble Cast Should Be Asked Back

Catania has repeatedly touted RHONJ’s “ensemble cast.” “I don’t think they want to revamp the whole cast,” she said in The Sun interview. “We’re an ensemble cast. Like us or hate us, like one person, love the next, hate the next, we worked good together on our best of days and on our worst of days. I would hate to see anybody not come back.”
Speaking with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” in December, Catania said viewers want to see familiar faces on the show. “Everybody wants us back, they really want us all back,” she told the outlet. “I don’t think [fans] would embrace [a reboot]. …It’s an ensemble cast, and we’ve had great times, and we’ve had bad times, but they were always entertaining. It worked for some reason. As bad as it was it worked. The chaos worked the way it did.”
Dolores Catania Thinks Her Cast Needs to Work Together
Part of the issue with the RHONJ cast is that there is a clear cast divide. Multiple cast members refused to speak to one another last season. Things were so bad that they didn’t even film a traditional reunion with Andy Cohen.
During a November 2024 interview on the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, Catania said it was “a shame” that some of her co-stars couldn’t work together. But she added that no one should dictate who should be on the cast.
“Here’s the thing, if you don’t want to work with someone that’s there, then don’t go,” she said. “You have the choice not to be there. You don’t tell NBC, Bravo who you want on the show and who you don’t — you don’t do that.”
