RHOBH Alum Is Willing to Return as ‘a Housewife’

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Denise Richards says she would be willing to return to the Bravo series.

During an appearance on the March 3 episode of RHOBH alum Crystal Kung Minkoff and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” personality Cynthia Bailey‘s podcast, “Humble Brag,” Richards said filming for RHOBH was overall a positive experience. Richards was a full-time cast member from 2018 to 2020. She also appeared in the show’s 13th season, which aired in 2024.

When Bailey asked Richards if she would “ever go back as a ‘Housewife,’ Richards replied, “Yeah.”

“I really enjoyed, for the most part, my experience. You know? And it’s something — you have a bond with everyone who has been a ‘Housewife.’ And you understand something,” said Richards during the interview. “There’s also some great things. Like at our ages to be able do these trips, and we have kids, we have partners, to have that time too — to go to these amazing places, and form genuine friendships with a lot of the women, that part I really enjoyed.”

Richards made similar comments about her time on RHOBH during a March 3 interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I liked it a lot. And yes, there times where it was challenging for me. But I’m so grateful for the moments that I did have,” said Richards to the publication.

She also noted that her former RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne filmed for her new Bravo series, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” despite their past issues on RHOBH season 13. She said that she and Jayne had a positive experience when she first joined RHOBH in 2018. She said, however, that her relationship with Jayne worsened during her second season on RHOBH. Richards suggested she wanted Jayne to film for “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” so they could reconnect.

“I did really want to see her. And talk to her,” said Richards to Entertainment Tonight.

Denise Richards Explained Why She Joined RHOBH

Richards shared why she decided to join the RHOBH cast in a November 2023 interview on Bethenny Frankel‘s podcast, “Just B with Bethenny.” According to Richards, her former friend and RHOBH alum Lisa Rinna spoke positively about filming the series.

“I thought, ‘You know what? Maybe this could be fun. It’s something different. And Lisa seems to have a good enough time on it,'” said Richards during the 2023 interview.
