Denise Richards had nothing but kind words to say about her ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s cameo on her Bravo reality show, “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.”
In a post shared to her Instagram story on April 1, Richards gave her ex a shout-out for his appearance on the episode “My Dinner With Charlie” nearly 20 years after their messy divorce.
“I love this episode so much,” Richards told fans. “My ex-husband Charlie Sheen is on it. I know that lot of you love him. I am so glad that he did this episode. It means a lot to me and my family and that he supported us.”
Richards previously teased the cameo during an appearance on Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast. “No one’s ever seen Charlie and I after our divorce sitting in a room talking,” she said in February 2025. “And I think that’s one of the things I loved that we were able to capture was us having that moment of sharing that.”
“Denise Richards and Her Wild Things” stars Richards and her husband, Aaron Phypers, as well as daughters Sami, 21, Lola,19, and Eloise, 13.
Charlie Sheen Broke the 4th Wall on Denise Richards’ Reality Show
In the episode, Richards and her daughter, Lola, met up with Sheen at a restaurant that Lola used to work at. During the meal, Sheen broke the fourth wall as cameras rolled, by saying, “I’ve never been on a reality show before.” Richards then noted that he could have made a cameo when she was a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” five years earlier. “The Housewives wanted you,” she told her former husband.
Sheen noted that he never watched RHOBH but had recently come across an old episode that featured the infamous scene between Richards and Lisa Rinna arguing about a cease and desist. “Oof, you’re so angry,” Rinna said to Richards in the season 10 scene.
“I never saw the show until about three days ago, and I stumble into this fight that you’re in with Lisa, but I didn’t have the backstory, so I couldn’t really pick a side,” Sheen told Richards on her show. “I mean, I picked yours … for obvious reasons.”
“Our lunch is going to look nothing like that,” the former “Anger Management” star added.
Is Charlie Sheen Friends With Lisa Rinna?
BravoSheen previously explained his refusal to appear on RHOBH. In 2019, he told Extra, “I don’t appear on shows I don’t watch,”
But it’s surprise that Sheen knew who Rinna was when he caught the RHOBH scene. The actor worked with Rinna in the past. In 2001, he starred with Rinna and Richards in the romantic comedy “Good Advice.”
Sheen played Ryan, a broke Wall Street broker who took over his girlfriend Cindy’s (Richards} newspaper advice column. Rinna appeared in the movie as Veronica Simpson, the wife of a publishing boss whom Sheen’s character had an affair with.
Sheen also knew Rinna due to his ex-wife’s long friendship with her.
