Bozoma Saint John reacted to a “bittersweet” episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” days after losing her home to the Palisades fire that raged across Los Angeles County.
On January 14, Saint John posted to Instagram to share her thoughts on the RHOBH season 14 episode “Venom in the Viper Room.” The former Netflix CMO told fans that the episode, which featured a beach date with her boyfriend Keely Watson, was especially difficult to watch knowing that her home in Malibu was burning as the show aired on Bravo.
Saint John shared photos of her standing on the rocks on the beach in Malibu wearing custom hot pink Dapper Dan jogger pants and jacket. She also shared a clip from her date with Watson.
“Watching last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was incredibly bittersweet,” Saint John captioned the post. “It was sweet because it captured the gorgeous Malibu beach date that @keelywatson__ planned for us. It was bitter because the night it aired, my Malibu home was burning along with so many houses on Pacific Coast Highway.”
“Whew,” she added. “The poetic irony is hard to face… but yet, I’m still grateful to have had these experiences in such an idyllic place. And God-willing, we’ll be able to make more memories there again.”
Fans reacted by sending prayers and positive messages to Saint John and her daughter Lael. Others expressed hopes of seeing Saint John rebuild her beloved home.
“We love you Boz. Our BH queen for seasons to come. Hope we get to watch you rebuild and come back strong as ever. Sending you so many well wishes 🙌🙌🙌💕,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
