RHOSLC Fans Notice 1 Big Thing About Season 5 Reunion Seating Chart

Fans of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” are raving about Angie Katsanevas’ move from a cast “friend” to a front-and-center snowflake in just two years.

After Bravo posted the RHOSLC season 5 reunion seating chart to Instagram, fans noted that Katsanevas was seated in the coveted chair closest to host Andy Cohen. 

“Angie K just became the first housewife in history to go from guest, to friend, to full time, to center snowflake, to reunion first seat!” one fan wrote on Reddit.

 Fans Have Grown to Love Angie K

Katsanevas joined the cast as a “friend” in season 3, which aired in 2022. She became a main cast member the following year. For season 5, Katsanevas  whipped an apology scroll out of her purse to air her grievances about Meredith Marks and later schooled newcomer Brianie Bateman on her on-and-off beau’s text thread with her brow girl.

When the RHOSLC taglines/opening credits dropped, fans noted that Katsanevas was holding the prestigious center “snowflake” spot. For comparison, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” veteran Kyle Richards holds that spot, albeit with a diamond, on her show.

On December 5, Bravo posted the RHOSLC seating chart that featured Katsanevas to Cohen’s right alongside Mary Cosby, Bronwyn Newport, and OG Whitney Rose. On Cohen’s other side sat Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, and Britanie Bateman.

In a Reddit thread fans said Katsanevas is a “great” Housewife and expressed gratitude that she was given the chance to shine.

“She is just the right blend of dramatic & quick enough wit to really be a force in the moment – when so many wives spend weeks plotting what they’ll say or do then deliver it awkwardly in the heat of the moment,” one Reddit user wrote.

“She is pure TV gold,” another fan agreed.

“She’s an icon, and underrated housewife! I remember when everyone was questioning why she got full time last season. I never questioned her greatness!!” another chimed in.

“Angie is one of the greatest housewives of all time, she’s studied the goats and waited patiently for her moment this is an MVP season the likes of which we haven’t seen on SLC yet. It’s vintage hard-nosed housewife,” another wrote.

Angie K Explained How Things Turned Around on RHOSLC

Katsanevas had a rocky first season as a full-time Housewife. During season 4 she was blindsided by rumors about her marriage. She came to bond with the cast as the season went on.

In an interview with Parade, Katsanevas said, “Doing this show surrounded by friends is a completely different experience for me this time around. I felt blindsided last season. It wasn’t what I expected to walk into. I felt like some people didn’t want me to come on this show, and it was their goal to ice me out, but I didn’t feel that this season.”

The RHOSLC star added, “I was able to be my real self. I think you see a better version of me this season. You get to see more of me and the real me, because I wasn’t in fight or flight.”
