‘Real Housewives’ Star Would Consider Exiting Series to Save Her Marriage

“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Alexia Nepola’s marital woes have been making headlines for months. After Alexia’s husband Todd Nepola filed for divorce in April 2024, the pair were spotted out and about on a PDA-filled getaway to Palm Beach in September, and by October they had filed to stall the ongoing divorce process until at least 2025.

Alexia opened up about her relationship in an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast on Saturday, November 23 at Bravo’s Fan Fest in Miami. “I love Todd,” Alexia told “Virtual Reali-Tea”. “I’ve always said that we love each other. It was just [that] we have had a lot [of issues because of] the show. He’s not such a fan of the show. He doesn’t like the show.”

As for whether she’d leave the show if it meant making her relationship work, Alexia said, “I know everybody wants to say no but I’ve said publicly many times that I would, because for me, my personal life has always been more important.”

Alexia Nepola Tears Up Talking About Relationship With Todd Nepola

Alexia began to tear up as she shared that she would leave the show if it came down to it to save her relationship. Her friend and co-star Marysol Patton, who was being interviewed alongside her, put an arm on Alexia’s shoulder, saying, “I told her don’t leave me. Don’t leave me.”

“It’s hard to do these shows on your own if your husband doesn’t support it,” Alexia added.

Alexia gave more of an insight to her living situation while at Bravo Fan Fest as well, telling People that she and Todd are living apart. “It’s good because we’ve had time,” she said. “I think that helped us not living together, helped us know that we really do want to be with each other and we truly love each other and we can’t live without each other. It’s just learning a way to deal with all of this.”

RHOM Adds Stephanie Shojaee to the Cast for Season 7

While Alexia left her future with RHOM up in the air for the sake of her marriage, she is still set to appear in the upcoming seventh season alongside Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Larsa Pippen, and Friends of the Housewives Adriana De Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth. The only Housewife to not return from season 6 was Dr. Nicole Martin, while Bravo has brought in a new face, Stephanie Shojaee, for the new season.

Regarding Julia’s absence, Alexia told Andy Cohen during the November 24 episode of “Watch What Happens Live”, “I was looking forward to her coming back. I always wanted to be close to her and be friends with her. It didn’t work that way on camera but behind the scenes we’re [friends],” Alexia shared.
