Zendaya and Tom Holland may be one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, but fans hoping for a wedding anytime soon will have to wait a little longer. According to Zendaya’s longtime stylist and creative partner Law Roach, the couple hasn’t started planning their nuptials just yet.
Speaking to E! News on July 17 at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, Roach shared a candid update about where things stand. “The process hasn’t even started yet,” he revealed. “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune… so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
Zendaya and Holland confirmed their engagement in January 2025, when Zendaya debuted her east-west diamond ring at the Golden Globes. But since then, they’ve kept details about their wedding under wraps. Roach’s latest comments align with what sources close to the couple have said all along—that they’re taking things slow.A source told People earlier this year that Zendaya and Holland “won’t rush a wedding” and plan to “just enjoy things for now.”
Law Roach Teases a Private Ceremony and a “Secret Bride”
GettyWhile Roach has styled Zendaya for years on red carpets, campaigns and major film press tours, he says don’t expect to see any behind-the-scenes wedding dress fittings anytime soon.
“She and Tom are super private about their relationship,” Roach told Complex, adding that Zendaya’s future wedding gown is likely one “nobody will ever see.” He echoed that sentiment again in his E! News interview, teasing that she’ll be “a secret bride.”
As for the timeline, Roach previously joked to E! in April that he’s “resting up for 2026,” signaling that the couple’s big day is still a ways off. “They’re both doing a bunch of movies this year, and there’s a lot of premieres next year,” he said.
Zendaya is currently in production on “Dune: Part Three,” and she and Holland are also set to appear together in the upcoming epic “The Odyssey”, directed by Christopher Nolan. Roach said he’s looking forward to seeing Zendaya reunite with Holland onscreen, along with Anne Hathaway, another one of his former clients.
A Thoughtful Proposal and a Longtime Love Story
Though the wedding may be on pause, it’s clear that Zendaya and Holland are deeply committed. Back in January, Holland’s father Dominic shared that Tom planned his proposal with great intention. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…” he wrote in a post.
The couple has always been intentional about keeping their relationship out of the spotlight. In a 2023 interview with ELLE, Zendaya opened up about navigating love in the public eye. “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public,” she said. “But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own.”
