They Are Only a Few Months Apart in Age
There isn’t much of an age difference between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Swift, 35, was born December 13, 1989, and Kelce, 35, was born October 5, 1989. This puts Kelce about two months older than Swift.
Travis Kelce Gave Taylor Swift a Friendship Bracelet
Everything you’ve heard is true. In July 2023, Kelce attended the Eras Tour to woo the singer. Remember the lyrics, “So make the friendship bracelets,” that took Swift fans by storm? Kelce was listening. The bracelet didn’t have just any Swift reference on it either — it had the football player’s phone number.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce said in a July 2023 episode on his podcast “New Heights.”
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it. … She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
Dating Rumors Sparked in September 2023
Kelce officially “threw the ball to Taylor” so to speak. In September 2023, Kelce invited Swift to a game.
“I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead.’ We’ll see what happens in the near future,” he said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
It was that same month Swift was spotted in the stands with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, cheering on the Chiefs.
Swift & Kelce Both Have Winning Records
Both Kelce and Swift are no stranger to winning awards. Prior to the 2025 Super Bowl, Kelce had won three Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to Kelce’s most recent stats, he was voted People’s Choice Award Athlete of the Year following his 2023 season.
