The 19-year-old college student, who joined her mom, 46, on set just a day earlier, stepped out in a patterned red dress cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt.

Fans couldn’t help but notice that while Suri favors her mom, her smile is all Tom Cruise. Social media users commented under a Splash News post, with one gushing,
“Perfect combination of Katie and Tom,” while another added, “She looks like Tom but she still looks like her mother.”

Suri’s Life Largely Out of the Spotlight
Katie married the Mission: Impossible star in 2006 and filed for divorce in 2012, securing primary custody of Suri. Since 2013, Suri has reportedly had no relationship with her father. Despite the distance, Cruise continues to cover her $65,000-a-year tuition at Carnegie Mellon University, along with medical, dental, and insurance expenses.
Holmes has often expressed pride in her daughter. “I’m proud of my daughter. Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy,” she told Town & Country last year.
Suri Is Preparing for Her Second Year at Carnegie Mellon
This New York outing comes just weeks before Suri begins her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, with the fall semester kicking off August 25. She started her freshman year in 2024 after graduating from New York’s prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
While she hasn’t confirmed her major, a source told the Daily Mail she’s considering a future in fashion: “She is a smart girl, and she is turning into a very intelligent mature young woman. She has a very close group of loyal friends, and she knows exactly where she comes from.”
