Tom Brady is one proud dad. The NFL icon recently posted two Instagram Story clips celebrating his eldest son Jack’s athletic skills, and height. In the first clip, 17-year-old Jack used his 6’4″ frame to slam-dunk a basketball hoop while aboard Tom’s luxury yacht docked in Florida.

“He’s got game. Future Wolverine,” Tom captioned, tagging the University of Michigan’s basketball team, his alma mater.
Jack’s Athletic Journey: From Football to Basketball
Though Tom found fame in football, he says he’s thrilled to see Jack carve his own path—especially if that means choosing basketball. “He played [football] this last year, and I don’t even know if he’s going to play next year,” Tom told People. “To be honest, whatever he chooses, I’ll be very happy… basketball’s probably his favorite sport, but he’s a very good student.”
Jack, whom Tom shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, also enjoys lacrosse.
Tom Brady Opens Up About Parenting Challenges
While Jack may share his dad’s love for sports, Tom has previously admitted it was tough accepting that his younger son Benjamin doesn’t. In a candid 2019 Men’s Health interview, he shared how Gisele helped him understand: “Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you understand that your son is different?’ It was hard for me.”
“I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a boy; he should do all these things that I do,’” Tom added. “The reality is that Benny just likes different things.”
These days, Tom has embraced each of his kids’ unique personalities. “When we do what Benny wants, we have the best time,” he said.
Navigating Co-Parenting After Divorce from Gisele
Tom shares Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 13, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. The couple divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, stating it was a “painful and difficult” decision made “after much consideration.”
They’ve maintained a respectful co-parenting relationship as both move into new life chapters. Gisele is now dating Joaquim Valente and welcomed a child with him earlier this year.

Tom Brady is fully embracing summer. The former NFL star was spotted enjoying a sun-soaked European getaway this month, making waves off the coasts of Saint-Tropez and Ibiza. Earlier this July, Brady flaunted his toned physique while lounging shirtless aboard a luxury yacht near the celeb-favorite French Riviera.
More recently, the 47-year-old hit the water in Ibiza to celebrate the Fourth of July, jumping into the crystal-clear sea from the back of the boat. Between dips, he relaxed on deck with music and took in the scenic views, clearly savoring his off-season in style.
