The Golden Globes aired the spot above for Girlfriends, a movie starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It follows two sisters whose parents put their childhood home up for sale. As a result, the women have to return home to clean out their bedroom. To celebrate their past, the girls throw a party for their former classmates, which gets a little out of hand, but is also exactly what they need.
This is their second movie collaboration since 2008’s Baby Mama, Of course, the duo also shared the stage on Saturday Night Live.
Fey is producing the movie, which is being released on December 18. Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin also star. The director from Pitch Perfect, Jason Moore, is also on board.
