“A Great Unknown” actor Timothée Chalamet capped off the 2025 awards season by thanking his longtime followers in a heartfelt Instagram post on March 14, 2025.
The 29-year-old star posted a picture of himself outdoors in a leafy nature area standing near a pool table, while wearing a light-wash denim jacket with floral patches and a peace sign.
He said in the caption, “Some of you have been rocking with me for over 7 years now (!)” possibly referencing the fact that he became widely known in the year 2018 with the January release of the Sony Pictures Classics film “Call Me By Your Name.”
Chalamet implored his fans to “know how deeply grateful I am.” He then alluded to the staying power of his career, saying that “once it’s seven years plus it isn’t a fad lol, ur with me for life now.” He added a tear-faced emoji before saying he “couldn’t do this without YOU.”
One of Chalamet’s Most Famous Costars Responded
Chalamet’s two-time costar Elle Fanning reacted to his sentimental statement by writing in the comments, “Always rock with you!”
Fanning first shared the screen with Chalamet in the romantic comedy drama “A Rainy Day In New York,” which first premiered at France’s Deauville American Film Festival on September 6, 2019, per Deadline.
The pair teamed again for Chalamet’s latest blockbuster, the Bob Dylan biopic “A Great Unknown,” for which he received his second Oscar nomination.
In a Vogue interview to promote the James Mangold film, Fanning and Chalamet revealed they first met in a casting office. Chalamet said, “We were in the hallway. I was leaving what was a very successful audition.”
Fanning took over, “And I was about to go into another successful audition,” before the duo laughed and high-fived each other.
Fans seem to adore the chemistry between the costars. One commented on the interview, “They both act like they are in high school and I love it!”
Another said, “I love them together. Something about their chemistry is so comfortable with each other, like they’ve known each other since high school.”

Jenner and Chalamet were first publicly spotted together at a Paris Fashion Week show in January 2023, according to Elle’s relationship timeline of the couple.
The pair seems to be going as strong as ever, with Jenner being spotted at Chalamet’s side several times throughout the 2025 awards season.
