Taylor Frankie Paul of the Hulu show, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” gushed over her son Ever True’s milestone birthday.
“Happy 1st birthday to my sweet baby Ever. I don’t know how I got so lucky to be your mommy. He is the sweetest soul and loves love,” Paul wrote in an Instagram post on March 19.
She continued, “Needy like his daddy and stubborn like his mommy. Just as hyper as his sister and brother. Couldn’t be more loved by his village he has beside him.”
“This one is emotional because it’s been such a transition phase this last year, and I just want us all to find peace in whatever direction it goes. I love you my baby boy,” Paul wrote.
The carousel of pictures included the reality star kissing her son on his cheek as she held him, Ever reading with his siblings in bed, and him using a toy to prop himself up. Paul’s castmate Mayci J Neeley replied, “Happy birthday sweet Ever!”
Ever’s father and Paul’s ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, wrote, “Forever grateful to you for bringing our little man into this world. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Paul Wished Mortensen a Happy Birthday in January
Months before her son Ever’s birthday, Paul took to her Instagram Stories to acknowledge Mortensen turning 32 years old, People reported. “Happy birthday baby daddy. wishing nothing but the best for you,” she wrote.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” cast member, Jessi Ngatikaura, also gave Mortensen some birthday love in her Instagram Stories. “Thanks for being the second best member of Dadtok,” she wrote while sharing a clip of her and Paul celebrating Mortensen’s birthday at a restaurant.
In January 2024, Paul shared the tough side of co-parenting with Mortensen with a TikTok video of her looking sad. “Choas to pure silence. Wouldn’t wish this pain upon anyone, if you’re there take a drive, scream, cry, feel the pain, because I promise avoiding it will make it much worse,” she told fans.
Paul added in the caption, “I was told you got through this once, you’ll get through it again.” She looked on the bright side when she told a fan, “Just happy he can have his day with him.”
Paul’s Castmates Offer Support Amid Co-Parenting Struggles
Paul has been open about her struggles with co-parenting with Mortensen and her castmates have rallied around her. In a TikTok shared on March 6, Paul wrote in a video of herself crying, “pain that doesn’t get easier is sharing your babies and then add in blaming yourself for it.”
Jen Affleck replied, “The strongest person I know.” Mikayla Matthews told Paul, “On your way to happier and healthier. proud of you.”
Neeley also chimed in. “Single, healthy & happy is way better than Together, toxic & miserable. Doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it’s worth it for you & the kids! You got this!”
