Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney isn’t just stealing scenes anymore; she’s also focusing on building an empire. The “White Lotus” star is diving into the fashion world with the launch of a bold new lingerie line, and she’s doing it with some serious backing: none other than Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez.
The “Euphoria” star is launching her very own lingerie brand, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. Sydney, 27, has reportedly been developing the line for over a year. “This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,” the insider shared.
How Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez Are Supporting Sydney’s Venture

Sweeney isn’t just bringing star power to her new business — some major financial heavyweights are also backing her. According to Us Weekly, billionaire couple Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez have “invested” in the upcoming line.
The funding connection appears to be linked to Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue, which recently launched its $1 billion Innovation Fund. According to The Wall Street Journal, the fund includes contributions from Bezos’ family office and fellow business titan Michael Dell, as reported by Puck on July 9.
Sweeney’s appearance at Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez’s star-studded wedding in Venice on June 27. Her appearance raised eyebrows at the time, especially since she had no publicly known ties to the couple. Now, the business connection may offer some clarity.
According to sources with direct knowledge cited by TMZ, Lauren Sánchez Bezos played a key role in bringing the business venture to life. She reportedly has a close relationship with investor Ben Schwerin, who introduced her to Sydney Sweeney. Sánchez then helped connect Schwerin, Jeff Bezos, and Michael Dell to structure the deal.
Sweeney’s Business Portfolio Is Already Booming

Sweeney has been steadily building a business empire behind the scenes. She currently serves as a global ambassador for brands like HeyDude, Bai, Laneige, and Kérastase.
She has previously partnered with Frankie’s Bikinis and Dr. Squatch — the latter of which featured her now-iconic bathwater-inspired soap.
“I thrive in chaos,” she joked in a May interview with Empire. “I love working. I love having to juggle multiple things at the same time. I don’t really sleep much, but I do best when I don’t sleep much.”
The Drive Behind Her Success

Sweeney’s ambitious hustle can be traced back to a tough childhood marked by financial hardship and family struggles. Speaking to Glamour in 2023, she reflected on what motivated her to succeed.
“I knew that I could never actually fail because, I mean, on a very broad scale, my family did lose everything,” she said. “They did get a divorce. Whether or not that was because of coming [to Los Angeles], it definitely was a catalyst for it. So I knew I had to succeed in some capacity so that it wasn’t for nothing.”
With an estimated net worth of $40 million, Sweeney made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2023 — but she insists there’s still much more to come.
“It’s a weird feeling when people are like, ‘Oh, you’re successful,’ or say, ‘You’ve made it,’” she told Glamour. “It doesn’t feel like that because there’s so much more I want to accomplish and achieve. I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of what I’d like to do in my life.”
With a fast-growing brand portfolio, A-list roles, and now her lingerie line backed by some of the biggest names in business, Sydney Sweeney is proving she’s more than just a Hollywood star. She’s a powerhouse in the making.
