Even though we’ve been hearing a lot about Supergirl, the series starring Melissa Benoist won’t actually start at the same time that most fall series are beginning. Supergirl will premiere on CBS on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 7:30 p.m. Central. Its regular start time will be at 8:00 p.m. Central, according to Cinema Blend. Interestingly, the series will directly compete with Gotham, which airs at the same time on Fox.
The show will be about 24-year-old Kara Danvers, also known as Kara Zor-El, who lives a double life as a regular person and an alien from Krypton with super powers. In this series, her cousin Superman is already famous, but she’s still in hiding. You can watch trailers for Supergirl below:
