Spencer Pratt Jumps in to Help Mandy Moore

Former “The Hills” star Spencer Pratt is coming to Mandy Moore‘s defense.

Page Six reported that Pratt took issue with those who have criticized Moore because she requested her Instagram followers to consider donating to help her in-laws, Griff and Kit Goldsmith, following the destruction of their home due to the Los Angeles fires. According to Page Six, Moore’s Altadena house was also harmed in the Eaton fire.

In a January 12 TikTok upload, Pratt said he was friends with Moore in the early 2000s. Pratt shared Moore booked his hotel in New York and possibly his flight when they were close. According to Pratt, whose Los Angeles home was also demolished due to the fires, Moore has consistently been kind for the past 20 years.

“I will ride for Mandy Moore. If I see one more TikTok about Mandy Moore and GoFundMes, I’m going to start coming after you guys. You want your worst nightmare, which is me right now, you post about Mandy Moore. I will ride for Mandy Moore,” said Pratt in his video.

Pratt then said, “Mandy Moore doesn’t do anything wrong.”

“She is the nicest freaking lady,” said Pratt. “She’s been nice since 2000 — when did I know Mandy Moore? 2004. Since 2004. If you are nice in 2004, you are still nice in 2025. Like I’m talking so nice.”

He also warned fans not to “come for Mandy Moore” unless they want him to personally address them.

“A lot of people I follow, you are popping up on my page. I want to block you, and stitch you, and come for you. But maybe delete your content about Mandy Moore because Mandy Moore is a real one,” said Pratt.

Pratt concluded his video by saying he understood why Moore asked her fans to help her in-laws.

“If she’s posting GoFundMes, that’s great. She doesn’t have to pay for whoever. She’s got her own life,” said Pratt.

Spencer Pratt Has Been Updating Fans Since Losing His Home

Pratt has been consistently updating fans after losing his and his wife, Heidi Montag‘s home because of Pacific Palisades fire on TikTok. For instance, he addressed social media users who have said they have limited empathy for him and Montag because they are wealthy celebrities in a January 11 TikTok upload. He stated that he has not been considered wealthy or a celebrity since “The Hills” was canceled in 2010.

“Everything I’ve ever read about myself is that I’m a broke nobody but then it takes all of our possessions and our house burning down — all of my comments section is ‘What do you have to cry about? You’re a rich celebrity,'” said Pratt.

Pratt joked that he enjoyed “the rebrand.”

“I’m enjoying being called a rich celebrity,” quipped Pratt.

Spencer Pratt Shared His Childhood Home Was Also Destroyed

Pratt, who shares two sons, Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Montage, shared that his parent’s home was also destroyed in a January 13 TikTok video. Pratt said his “parents lost their home that [he] grew up in.” In addition, Pratt said that his parents were unable to save any of their belongings.

“They didn’t get one bag because it was in the middle of the town,” said Pratt in the January 13 video.
