Shortly after the news broke, English musician Gavin Rossdale shared a tribute on Instagram, writing, “RIP OZZY – a great man – a true legend.”

Medics Tried for Hours to Save the Rock Legend

A Thames Valley air ambulance landed at Welders House, the Osbournes’ Buckinghamshire estate, around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The helicopter landed in a nearby field, and medics stayed with Ozzy for nearly two hours before he was pronounced dead.
Locals from the neighboring community of Jordans reported hearing the helicopter overhead and seeing it land. “We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health,” one local said.
