Saquon Barkley Asked About Travis Kelce Engagement Rumors

Fresh off his Super Bowl win, Saquon Barkley sat down with Howard Stern to talk all things football and life.

During his interview on “The Howard Stern Show,” the running back for the Philadelphia Eagles was asked Barkley if he thought Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were end game.

“From where you’re sitting, you think Travis Kelce’s gonna marry Taylor Swift or what do you think? What’s gonna happen there?” Stern asked on the February 12 episode.

“I have no idea,” Barkley responded. He didn’t have much else to offer on the ongoing engagement speculation. Of course, he probably doesn’t have much of an inkling as to what’s going on behind closed doors, given that he and Kelce don’t even play for the same team.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Engagement Rumors Have Circulated for Months

It totally makes sense that Stern would ask Barkley his take on Kelce and Swift, given that engagement rumors about the couple have been running wild for months.

In fact, back in October, a source very bluntly denied the engagement speculation in a statement given to TMZ.

“It’s not true and the recent erratic and unfounded speculation on this couple is just proving that media and overzealous fans do not know what’s going on with them and shouldn’t make wild assumptions based on zero facts. Two days ago everyone had decided they were broken up, now they’re allegedly secretly engaged? It’s whiplash-inducing,” the source said.

Nevertheless, many Swifties have been waiting for an announcement and some think it’s going to happen soon.

Saquon Barkley Didn’t Like That Taylor Swift Got Booed at the Super Bowl

One thing that Barkley brought up was Swift getting booed at the Super Bowl.

“I will say this though. I will say this though. You know, I remember that they showed her on the jumbotron and she got booed. I don’t get it. I don’t get why she was getting hate there,” he told Stern.

“She’s there supporting her significant other and she’s made the game bigger,” he continued.

“You know, we’re all about, in football, we’re all about, you know, how can we expand the game and make it more, you know, internationally and we’re traveling to Brazil and we’re traveling to Mexico, and you know, apparently we’re traveling to Australia soon, so we’re trying to expand the game and, you know, her being a part of it’s only helping that, so I don’t get the slack that she’s getting,” he added.
