Richard Gere’s Wife Posts Rare Photos of Their Kids Together

Richard Gere’s wife has posted rare photos of their kids together on her Instagram page.

“Happy first Spanish Father’s Day ♥️♥️ We love you!!! #fathersday #diadelpadre,” Alejandra Gere wrote on her Instagram page on March 19, 2025. She posted a collage of photos showing Gere with their kids.

One photo shows Gere bending over to interact with the two kids. Another photo shows the entire family on a beach.

The caption reads, “Happy 1st Spanish Father’s Day to the best dad of the world.”

In September 2024, Alejandra posted a birthday tribute to Richard Gere, calling him the love of her life.

“After 11 amazing years together, it still feels like the day we first met. The journey we’ve shared, the beautiful family we’ve built, and the memories we’ve created are more than I could have ever dreamed of. You make my life better in every way, and I’m so grateful to have you by my side,” she wrote. “Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and happiness together.”

According to People, the couple had son named Alexander in 2019 and James in 2020. She also has an 11 year old son named Albert, and Gere has a son named Homer with his second wife, People reported.

“Richard is a very devoted and present father. He loves to read them stories. It seems like an idyllic photo, but it’s true. He’s a great dad,” Alejandra Silva Gere told Elle Espana. “He doesn’t cook. I do it, but when I cook, he plays the guitar.” 

According to People, Alejandra runs a foundation in Spain that is devoted to helping the homeless, and the couple recently moved their family to Spain. Her father was the vice president of the soccer club Real Madrid, People reported, noting that Gere was a longtime family friend before they were linked romantically.

They married in 2019 after four years of dating, People reported.
