After the success of Green Day and The Who’s Broadway shows, a Jeff Buckley-inspired musical may hit the stage within a year Rolling Stone reports. New York director Michael Kimmel noticed how well Buckley’s lyrics complimented William Shakespeare’s writing (quite a compliment right there) and decided to create a play fusing Romeo and Juliet with Buckley’s songwriting. Dubbed The Last Goodbye, Kimmel plans on utilizing “New Year’s Prayer,” “So Real” and “Eternal Life” as well as a few others.
