Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne were married for 43 years before his death on July 22, 2025. The longtime couple celebrated their final wedding anniversary just weeks earlier on July 4. Phenomenal rockstar Ozzy Osbourne sadly passed away at the age of 76, the Guardian reports.

Sharon Was 18 When She First Met Ozzy — and It Wasn’t Love at First Sight
The pair were first introduced in 1970 when Sharon’s father, music manager Don Arden, was working with Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath. At the time, Sharon was just 18 years old and wasn’t exactly impressed.
In a past interview with Dan Rather for AXS TV, Sharon recalled meeting the group: “I was like, ‘Oh Lord, look at them,’” she said. “And they were all odd and hairy… They don’t look or dress like anything I’ve ever seen.”
It wasn’t until 1980, after Sharon began managing Ozzy following his split from ‘Black Sabbath’, that things changed. “He was so funny, so funny and quick-witted and yet very vulnerable,” she said. “And that just attracted me to him.”
From Manager to Wife: A New Chapter Begins

He spent months in a hotel under the influence until Sharon stepped in to help him recover and take control of his career. She became his manager and helped launch his successful solo career, including the release of “Crazy Train” in 1980.
Around that time, the two began dating. They tied the knot in Hawaii on July 4, 1982 — shortly after Ozzy finalized his divorce from his first wife, Thelma Riley, with whom he shared two children.
Sharon and Ozzy welcomed their first child, Aimée, on September 2, 1983. Kelly followed on October 27, 1984, and their son Jack was born on November 8, 1985.
Kelly and Jack went on to star with their parents in the hit MTV reality show The Osbournes, which debuted in March 2002 and introduced the family to a new generation of fans. Though their relationship wasn’t always perfect, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne built a marriage rooted in resilience, loyalty, and deep affection.
