Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, spoke out on rumors that her dad’s health is declining.
Kelly Osbourne took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 11, where she squashed the rumors.
“There’s this video going around on social media, and it’s supposed to be my dad, but it’s AI,” the 40-year-old began. “It has a voice like my dad’s David Attenborough or something. And it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’”
“What the [expletive] is wrong with you people?” she added. “Why would you spend your time making a video like this?”
She noted while he has some difficulty with his mobility, her famous dad isn’t going anywhere.
“He’s not dying,” she continued. “Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”
Rumors Began Due to a Previous Interview that Sharon Osbourne Gave
Many years ago, Sharon Osbourne told The Mirror that the two had a suicide pact.
“Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision. We believe 100 per cent in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it – we’d be off,” she said at the time.
Sharon Osbourne made the comments after her father Don Arden died after suffering from Alzheimer’s.
“Ozzy and I have asked our lawyers to make the appropriate arrangements,” she continued. “It’s taken away some of the fear of our ending and is a final gift of love to our kids.”
While Sharon Osbourne previously made these comments, Kelly Osbourne added that her famous mom just made the statement for publicity.
“Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact,” Kelly Osbourne added. “That was [expletive] my mom said to get attention one time. And my dad’s not dying. Stop.”
Ozzy Osbourne Played His Final Concert
The rock icon gave his final performance, dubbed the “Back to the Beginning” show on July 5 in his hometown of Birmingham, England.
The Black Sabbath frontman ended up raising over $190 million for charity with the final concert, according to PEOPLE.
Proceeds will benefit three charities: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Prior to the show, Ozzy Osbourne spoke about what his final show meant to him.
“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” he said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
