Owen Wilson & Jennifer Aniston Are as ‘Tight as Ever’: Report

Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston have forged a very close friendship, with a source telling In Touch Weekly that they are “tight as ever.”

The actors starred together in the popular movie “Marley & Me.”

“‘Marley & Me’ was a totally magical project for both of them,” the source told In Touch. “Owen has known Jen for more than 20 years at this point and It’s funny that all these years later you see Owen continue to look up to Jen as a role model, even though he’s slightly older than she is.”

The source told In Touch that Aniston and Wilson are “as tight as ever while helping each other’s careers and making plans to work together again in the future.”

Wilson is turning to Aniston for career advice, the source told In Touch.

“When it comes to Owen’s new show for Apple TV+ that’s especially true. Owen has pretty specifically leaned on Jen for advice and guidance and even the casting of Timothy Olyphant as Owen’s foil in the series echoes the dynamic Jen and Reese Witherspoon have on ‘The Morning Show,'” the source told the publication.

“Jen is cheering him on and takes some credit for helping him come into the AppleTV+ world in the first place. They haven’t had a lot of hit shows but Jen’s is definitely one of them.”

According to Deadline, Wilson has a new project in the works called “Runner.”

He will star with Alan Ritchson (the “Reacher” actor) in the movie being called an “action drama,” Deadline reported.

According to Deadline, Ritchson plays “a high-end courier who has three hours to transport an organ to save a seven-year-old girl in need of an immediate transplant.”

Wilson plays “the medical courier that Ritchson is begrudgingly forced to transport and protect” when a crime syndicate pursues the organ, according to Deadline.

“The story’s grounded nature and emotional through-line is one-of-a-kind,” said producer Jeffrey Greenstein. to Deadline.

In addition, according to AJC, Wilson was recently spotted in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is filming a comedy called “Rolling Loud” with comedian Matt Rife.
